The International Diploma in Computer Studies (IDCS)

Equivalent to year 1 of a 3 year UK honours degree | HE Level C (Certificate), NQF Level: 4

IDCS Aimed at students seeking undergraduate entry onto an International IT Degree Pathway, the diploma blends the best in technical, communication and business skills to create well rounded IT professionals, making NCC Education graduates attractive to employers.

Program Structure

The Course lasts one year, approximately one third practical and project time and one third private study. IDCS breaks down into 8 units

Core modules are assessed by examination. Elective modules are 75% assignment and 25% examination.

Advancement

  • The Diploma is an entry course level for the International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies.
  • The International Diploma in Computer Studies is recognised by selected international Universities for Degree course credit exemptions.

Diploma Holders who wish to further their studies should make individual application to the particular Institution of their choice who will consider cases individually.
